Living between Cairo and Los Angeles
As a photographer practicing somewhere adjacent to photojournalism, I attempt to draw throughlines between people from different cultures, classes, and nation-states amidst the deeply interwoven backdrops of climate change, globalization, and ‘modernization.’ My images come from a range of places like Egypt, Mongolia, Brazil, Lebanon, and the United States.
